THE BENEFICIARIES

The Family:

FDA empowers parents through participation in group discussions and parent counseling groups to acquire all necessary information to face and deal with the disability at their homes especially the siblings. This process trains the parents, and in particular the mothers, on special procedures to increase the child’s readiness level and to prepare him/her for pre-schooling program by the age of 3 years.

Children and Adults:

The beneficiaries are those who have developmental disabilities, and they range in age from:

  • birth 0-3
  • 3-6, preschool age;
  • from 6 to adults.

They are admitted according to the kind of developmental disabilities:

  • developmental delay,
  • down syndrome,
  • cerebral palsy,
  • autism spectrum disorders,
  • physical, behavioral and emotional problems and learning disabilities.
