Educational Model

The delivered educational model is a comprehensive inclusive program that is designed to challenge students in the acquisition of educational, vocational, social, daily living, and recreational skills. Special emphasis is placed on acquiring practical skills. Social interaction and adaptation are also stressed. Field trips and various other educational experiences are included in the program.

The educational model is structured, in particular, to cover the following areas:

• Functional skills, effective communication and information processing;
• Intellectual abilities;
• Daily living skills;
• Social skills to foster acceptance, appreciation and respect.

Apart from the above, the program also encompasses:

• Physiotherapy,
• Speech therapy,
• occupational therapy,
• psychotherapy, and
• psychomotricity
