Working with leather- Do you want to see our work?

Leather is supple and tough. One likes to touch it, it has a pleasant smell and looks nice. In working with leather, all these realms of experience are addressed and have their effect on the worker. The process demands precision and dexterity, and by the same token, the child normally appreciates the suppleness of the material and eventually makes good use of it. One learns without noticing - even children with severe disabilities can achieve good results.

worker with clay

The worker with clay gives a form to the material without having to pay attention to its versatility. There are hardly any limits to the possibilities of form. The material yields, and can be worked by hand without any tool. This demands power of will, which is bound to offer the beginnings of character building.

Working with wood

Working in wood calls for an intimate contact with the nature of this material, which is alive and changeable. That is not only good for improving the manual skills, since whoever works with wood must develop a feeling for its grain. The perception of such a feeling enriches personality and enhances creativity.
